CG Semi is a JV between CG Power, part of the Murugappa Group, Renesas Electronics, a Japan-based leading semiconductor player, and Stars Microelectronics, a Thailand-based OSAT. CG Power is the majority shareholder (>90% share) which leads the setup and operations of the venture.
Renesas Electronics serves as our primary technology and training partner contributing deep semiconductor expertise across design, packaging, and process know-how.
With a quality-first approach, we offer comprehensive turnkey services across chip assembly, packaging, testing, and post-test solutions, spanning both legacy and advanced semiconductor packages.
Backed by the Central Government of India and the Government of Gujarat, we are building two world-class facilities in Sanand, Gujarat.
